Wee Care Learning Center is a ministry of Unity Baptist Church, dedicated to serving children and families with Christ-centered love. We nurture the whole child—physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually—while building strong foundations for lifelong learning.
At Wee Care, childhood is filled with love, safety, discovery, and joy. Our educators guide children through meaningful play, hands-on learning, and caring relationships that help each child grow in confidence, social skills, early academics, faith, kindness, and compassion.

At Wee Care Learning Center, we provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack each day. Mealtimes are an important part of our daily routine, giving children the opportunity to refuel, build healthy habits, and enjoy time together in a supportive environment.

Wee Care Learning Center will be closed in observance of the following holidays:
We will also close early at 3:00 PM on New Year’s Eve.
We reserve the right to close for professional development up to two (2) days per year. Families will receive advance notice.
Our dedicated staff are the heart of Wee Care. All team members meet or exceed Illinois DCFS requirements.
Director
Brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. Passionate about creating a program where children feel safe, families feel supported, and staff feel valued.
Two-Year-Old Teacher
Supports toddlers through language skills, routines, and independence in a patient and caring environment. Enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors.
Two-Year-Old Teacher
Creates a warm environment where toddlers feel safe to explore and grow. Values patience and consistency. Enjoys relaxing, music, and family time.
Preschool Teacher
Leads our preschool classroom with a focus on structure, independence, confidence, and school readiness. Values strong relationships with children and families.
Three-Year-Old Teacher
Brings a playful and engaging approach to learning. Passionate about creativity, social development, and preparing children for the next stage.
School Age Teacher
Provides a safe, fun, and supportive space for school-age children before and after school. Focuses on engagement, structure, and positive guidance.
Cook, Bus Driver & Support Staff
Prepares nutritious meals, assists with transportation, and helps keep the center running smoothly. A dependable and vital part of our team.
